Julien Rasquinet creates newest for Electimuss – Gladiator Oud

Electimuss have added Gladiator Oud to their vary of perfumes impressed by historical Rome. The newest scent is claimed to be “impressed by a gladiator, match for an emperor”

Electimuss inventive director, Claire Sokell Thompson, explains “The gladiator we had in thoughts as our inspiration for this scent is a noble warrior. A victor with the braveness, energy, knowledge and ability essential to win within the gladiatorial enviornment, but in addition a pure born chief with confidence, integrity and dignity. We imagined a charismatic character commanding deep respect and affection like Maximus Decimus Meridius the legendary Gladiator performed by Russell Crowe.”

My dream was to create an iconic fragrance befitting the title: an addictive and wearable oud combining the ability and physicality of a fight with the the Aristocracy of a real chief; all throughout the spectacular theatre of the gladiatorial enviornment. To grasp this we collaborated with Julien Rasquinet.”

Rasquinet has beforehand created Amber Aquilaria for Electimuss, and is not any stranger to oud fragrances, as he’s the nostril behind scents akin to Creed’s Royal Oud and Malle’s The Moon.

Rasquinet says, “For this perfume, I wished to embody the virility and honour of the gladiator. With a refined Oud, I gave this the very amber, animalic side of the fierce and brave fighter. I added a daring contact of gold with Honey and Hay to have a good time his success. Lastly, as he enters the sector, the revered gladiator is imbued with class and refinement by the noble scent of Maximus Decimus Meridius.”

Notes for the perfume embody ambergris, cardamom, Egyptian geranium, hay absolute, Haitian vetiver, cumin seed, oud, cedarwood, saffron and honey.
